Medium Density Polyethylene, also known as alkathene, is a tough and flexible thermoplastic which is used in the manufacture of water pipes, due to its high chemical resistance, and high prevention of algae, bacteria and fungi build-up.

We supply MDPE water pipe (Alkathene) in diameters including 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm and 63mm, in coil lengths of 25m, 50m, 100m and 150mtrs. We stock MDPE in both blue and black. Blue is for potable (drinking) water and black (pumping main) is primarily for non-potable water i.e. seawater, pumped foul & grey water etc
